The NiMSA Caucus successfully held a strategic meeting at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, bringing together delegates from AMSA, EKSUMSA, and FUOMSA. The gathering focused on strengthening collaboration among member associations and discussing key issues affecting the caucus.
Before the meeting, delegates embarked on an educational tour of the Ile-Ife Museum, where they explored historical artefacts and exhibitions documenting Nigeria's cultural heritage. The visit also provided an opportunity for delegates to interact and build stronger relationships across the participating medical students' associations.
Discussions during the meeting centred on preparations for the upcoming NiMSA Convention, a review of previous caucus activities, and the planned transition of the Caucus Chairman and Caucus Secretary positions. The leadership transition was deferred to a later date, with members reaffirming their commitment to unity, collaboration, and the continued advancement of NiMSA.
