Nigeria's Super Falcons booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) with a dominant 6–2 victory over Egypt in their final Group C fixture. The emphatic win saw the defending champions finish top of the group after winning all three matches and conceding twice.
The Super Falcons controlled the game from start to finish, combining attacking flair with tactical discipline to overwhelm the Egyptian side. Their clinical finishing and relentless pressure produced six goals, reinforcing Nigeria's status as one of the favourites to retain the continental title.
